SLS Powder Handling Station

Designed as a dedicated post-processing workstation for selective laser sintering (SLS), this enclosed powder handling station streamlines part excavation, powder recovery, and workspace cleanliness into a single ergonomic platform. The enclosed work area, integrated lighting, and high-flow dust extraction system improve operator visibility while significantly reducing airborne powder exposure during cleaning operations.

The workstation incorporates a large removable collection hopper and integrated vacuum system, allowing reusable powder to be recovered efficiently while minimizing material waste. Components are organized for easy maintenance and service access, with a compact footprint that maximizes functionality without sacrificing operator comfort.

Built around a rigid aluminum extrusion frame with lightweight composite panels, the station provides industrial durability while remaining easy to relocate on locking casters. Gas springs support the large access doors, creating an unobstructed work area and improving both safety and usability during extended operation.
